Patrick Chwalek

Patrick Chwalek is a third-year PhD student in the Responsive Environments group at the MIT Media Lab. His research interests include embedded sensor systems, wearable and nearable systems to aid in research data collection, and, broadly, technologies to enhance people's perception of how environments impact their mental well-being and physical health. Apart from MIT, he has worked on biomedical devices, CubeSats, surveillance systems, wildfire detection systems, and projects for the National Geographic Society.
